Resolved Question: Please help me plan our trip to Australia?

We'll have at least 2 weeks (14 days or more) in Australia. Planning for our vacation to start the end of October or the beginning of November. We will spend a couple of days in Sydney. We'd also like an outback experience...looking into Urulu rock area for 3-5 days. Then we'd like to see the barrier reef as well as the rainforest. Questions we have are... should we see the Golden Coast? We plan to visit Bondi beach in Sydney and spend some time on the beach around the barrier reef. Is the golden coast worth another flight? What order would you suggest we do our trip in to save money? Sydney to the Red Centre to Cairns? Or Syndey, Cairns, Red Centre? We are the type of people who like to visit a bach for a couple hours a day and then we get bored. We are into natural wonders and having Australia only type experiences. Oh, my husband REALLY wants to see a kangaroo in the wild! Any suggestions from where we are traveling (Cairns, Red Centre for Uluru rock, etc)? Thanks for any help!!! P.S.
